Most repairs are completed same-visit, and we test the system before we leave to confirm it's actually holding.
Leonard HVAC grew one honest service call at a time in communities like Mount Wilson. Every technician we send to your door is background-checked, factory-trained, and licensed to work on the systems installed throughout Mount Wilson, CA.
We're not interested in being the cheapest quote on the page — we're the team that shows up in the truck, not a subcontractor we've never met. We carry the credentials Mount Wilson inspectors and property managers expect to see, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, residential or commercial.
Mount Wilson's climate swings hard, and generic national playbooks don't always fit. That local knowledge shapes the parts we stock on the truck — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Ask around Mount Wilson and you'll hear the same complaint about a lot of HVAC companies. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. Every dispatcher, every technician, and every follow-up call is held to the same standard, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Mount Wilson is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
When you call +1-866-805-8548, you're talking to someone who understands the local permitting process, the common equipment brands installed in Mount Wilson homes, and realistic scheduling given local demand. We keep parts inventory stocked based on what actually fails most often on Mount Wilson's housing stock.
Every service below is backed by the same licensing, warranty, and upfront pricing you get on any job we run.
A dead system in the middle of a heat wave or a cold snap isn't just inconvenient — it can be a real safety issue for kids, pets, and older residents. Our Mount Wilson dispatch team moves emergency tickets to the front of the schedule so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
An aging system that's constantly breaking down usually costs more to keep patching than to replace. We walk Mount Wilson homeowners through financing and rebate options where available before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
We protect floors and entryways during the install and haul away the old equipment so you're not left dealing with disposal.
Commercial equipment operates differently than a residential unit, and it needs technicians who actually understand rooftop packages and multi-zone systems. Our commercial division services rooftop units and package systems across Mount Wilson, with service agreements built around your operating hours.
We understand that a commercial call isn't just about comfort, it's about keeping a business open.
Preventive maintenance is the cheapest repair you'll ever pay for, because it's the one that prevents the bigger bill. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for Mount Wilson households that want more than just temperature control.
A tune-up typically takes under an hour and covers the checkpoints most likely to catch a problem before it becomes a breakdown.
This is the standard every Mount Wilson technician on our team is held to.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
If a competitor's written quote for the same scope of work is genuinely lower, ask us about it.
Our office follows up after major repairs and installs to confirm everything is holding.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
Ignoring new noises is one of the fastest ways to turn a small repair into a major one.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
Gradual efficiency loss is easy to miss month to month, but it adds up fast over a season.
This is one of the warning signs we recommend not waiting on.
A musty smell often points to mold or moisture buildup somewhere in the ductwork.
We'll always tell you honestly when a repair is the better call versus when it isn't.
No inflated "emergency surcharge" games — the number we quote is the number you pay.
Dispatchers give you a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today".
If something isn't right after we leave, we come back and make it right.
We run background checks because you're letting someone into your home.
We explain what failed, why it failed, and what the options are.
Maintenance plan members get priority scheduling and discounted rates.
A snapshot of the feedback that keeps us accountable.
"I called three other companies first and this was the only one that actually picked up. The pricing was exactly what they quoted over the phone."
"Signed up for the annual plan after our first repair and it's paid for itself already. Techs are always polite, always on time, and clean up after themselves."
"Had a full system replacement done and it was the smoothest home project I've had in years. Would recommend to anyone in Mount Wilson needing a real replacement, not a patch job."
"As a property manager, having a company that actually answers after-hours calls is rare. Kept our kitchen running through the weekend rush."
"The estimate matched the final invoice exactly, down to the dollar. Would use them again without hesitation."
"Diagnosed a failed capacitor and had it swapped within the hour. No overnight surcharge shock — the price matched what dispatch quoted me on the phone."
Understanding what typically fails helps homeowners know what to watch for and when a repair call is worth making before things get worse.
Mount Wilson's seasonal swings put real stress on a system that isn't maintained regularly. Filters should be checked monthly during heavy-use seasons and replaced roughly every 60-90 days depending on your household and any pets.
Keeping vents unblocked by furniture and rugs helps maintain even airflow throughout the home. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Whether your Mount Wilson home has a traditional split system, a ductless mini-split, a heat pump, or a hybrid dual-fuel setup, our crews are equipped to diagnose and repair it. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
We don't outsource dispatch to a call center that's never met our technicians.

Most Mount Wilson homes benefit from two tune-ups a year — one before cooling season and one before heating season.
If you smell gas or burning, shut off the system at the breaker and step outside, then call us immediately.
We'd rather quote it honestly on the phone than have you feel ambushed by the bill.
More involved repairs, like a coil replacement or a refrigerant leak repair, take longer and the tech will give you a realistic estimate before starting.
For commercial accounts or rental properties, a designated point of contact or property manager can coordinate access instead.
Housing stock varies a lot across Mount Wilson — older homes often still run original ductwork that needs different care than the sealed, high-efficiency systems going into newer builds.
If you manage several units or a shared system across a Mount Wilson property, ask about setting up a standing service account so every request gets handled under one consistent agreement.
A full system replacement is one of the bigger home expenses most people face, and we don't expect everyone to pay it in a single lump sum. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Mount Wilson installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
